A demagogic rabble-rouser like Mutalik, whose idea of Indian culture borders on primitive obscurantism which can find parallel only in Taliban, shot into fame after media’s unwanted coverage to the issue. He should be ignored. As a journalist myself, I too feel pity about Indian media’s priorities and alacrity to go after sensationalism.
